Users with a Samsung TV do not like automatic switching of the HDMI port when a new signal is detected. The TV switches automatically to the new signal, even if a program is being watched. Nowadays, the different products (box, game consoles, etc.) carry the HDMI-CEC protocol that allows to tell the television when they have just been turned on.

The television can thus switch over. But in the case of Samsung, the user does not really control and the TV can turn on or switch on the new signal even if the user does not want. It would seem that the television stations concerned are those of 2016, but this remains to be confirmed.

It will be noted that Samsung reacted only after the media solicitation. The first post posted on the forums dates back to April 16, 2016 and others have since followed.
