LG has presented the 24-inch W2486L PC monitor on CES 2009. W2486L has a LED backlight and a response time of 2 milliseconds.

LG has announced the L2486L; a 24-inch PC monitor with LED backlight. The LED backlight reduces power consumptions, improves the picture quality and makes sure that the light homogeneity of the panel is perfect.

LG has hired one of their top-notch designers, too. The monitor has a black, glossy frame and has a depth of just 20 mm. The stand has a small dint at the center which is lit by a diode. In the right side of the frame a touch-sensitive on/off switch is located.

LG says that the monitor has a contrast ratio of 1.000.000:1 and a response time of 2 ms. The monitor has a TN panel. 
Also, the monitor is equipped with a light sensor that adjusts the brightness according to the surroundings.

LG also tells us that they have managed to reduce power consumption by 50 % compared to other 24-inch PC monitors out there.

No word on price or date yet, though.
