Some time ago the first rumours about a gigantic Bang & Olufsen 103-inch plasma-TV started popping up. Now the prestigious company from Struer has confirmed that they will release the TV. It’s called BeoVision 4-103 and has a gigantic automatic stand.

FlatpanelsHD have received an exclusive video showing the enormous BeoVision 4-103 and the unique automatic stand.
When the BeoVision 4-103 is turned on the stand raises and the loudspeaker becomes visible.

The TV has a Panasonic TH-103PF9 panel and the final build weighs about 500 kilos inclusive the stand. The stand is motorized and adjusts to the position of the viewer.

The resolution is 1920x1080 pixels. No words on how much power the TV consumes but the 50 and 65-inch versions consumes around 366 W and 680, respective, and a guess would be around 1.5 kW.

B&O BeoVision 4-103 incorporates the B&O BeoSystem 3 and the VisionClear technology that automatically adjusts colours and brightness. Every 120 hour the TV is automatically re-calibrated.

You can order the BeoVision 4-103 from March 18. It will be available officially from July 2009 and cost around 100.000 Euro + VAT.
