Have you been looking for a gaming monitor with IPS? Then LG’s new E70V model might be just the right thing for you. It features an IPS panel with LED backlight and has been optimized for gaming with a “no-input lag” Thru mode.

At CES LG announced the E70V monitor with an IPS panel and LED backlight. Not all specifications have been released on this new interesting monitor but we do know that it has been optimized for gaming purposes.

This means that the same Thru mode found in W2363D has been incorporated in the E70V monitors in order to reduce input lag to zero. The monitor has Full HD resolution (1920x1080) and 300 cd/m2 brightness. It also includes a remote control and PIP (picture-in-picture) which probably means that it has built-in TV tuners. E70V comes with D-SUB, DVI, 2xHDMI and Audio out.

We will return with full specifications later. The E70V name probably refers to the monitor range instead of an actual model and we might see more screen sizes in the E70V range from LG soon.
