LG has a massive line-up of TVs in 2013. The Smart TV features will be expanded to even more TVs and LG will release its first OLED and Ultra HD TVs, along with new LED and plasma TVs. Some of the new Smart TV features include Miracast and NFC.

PM9700 is LG's new slim plasma-TV

LG has presented their new flagship plasma TV called PM9700. LG promises better color reproduction, 40 percent deeper blacks, and a very slim design.

Plasma TVs are getting thinner and LG has now managed to create a plasma TV with the slimmest bezel ever. A new design and the new base is also introduced, and LG seems to drift away from the Borderless design for their plasma TV.

LG has implemented a new type of phosphor to improve picture characteristics. LG also boasts a Super Black Panel technology that shouls improve black levels by 40 percent as well as a new eco-friendly system to lower power consumption. The panel supports active 3D.

Smart TV

LG PM9700 incorporates LG’s new Smart TV platform and supports the 2012 Magic Motion Remote with voice recognition and gesture control.

The Smart TV platform is now more user-friendly with an updated Dashboard 2.0 look that is customizable with favorite buttons. And SmartShare 2.0 lets user push pictures from smartphones, laptop and tablets onto the TV screen.

Availability

LG PM970T will be available in Q2 2012 in 50 and 60 inches called 50PM9700 and 60PM9700. Pricing details and have not been disclosed.
