IKEA’s Uppleva TV was unveiled in March and IKEA is preparing the European and US launch. At an event in Italy, IKEA told more about the TV, the remote, interface, TV apps, and has also posted a new video.

IKEA has now shared some more details about the TV will come with access to apps such as YouTube, Vimeo, and Dailymotion. More than 20 apps will be available at launch day, including apps for music, gaming & video-on-demand. It will also feature a simple slide-out remote. The idea is to hide the most advanced buttons and only make the most relevant buttons available during everyday use.

IKEA Uppleva will be available in 24 to 46 inches, and feature an integrated Blu-ray player, speaker and a wireless subwoofer. To learn more about the TV/furniture concept see the video below.
