Samsung will release new LED and plasma TVs, as well as its first Ultra HD TVs. Samsung’s OLED-TV could be released in 2013. 2013 is all about Smart TV and new smarter features but Samsung also promises improvements to picture quality.
LG has a massive line-up of TVs in 2013. The Smart TV features will be expanded to even more TVs and LG will release its first OLED and Ultra HD TVs, along with new LED and plasma TVs. Some of the new Smart TV features include Miracast and NFC.

IFA 2012 in Berlin starts August 31

This year’s IFA 2012 show in Berlin starts August 31 and ends on September 5. You can look forward to all the new and exciting products and technologies from major electronics brands. All the big TV manufacturers have been confirmed and FlatpanelsHD will be there to tell you all about it – so stay tuned!

IFA 2012

As always, IFA will open its doors in the German capital, Berlin. Electronics manufacturers, the media, consumers and industry watchers flock to IFA to see the latest and the greatest. Samsung, Sony, Panasonic, LG, Philips, Sharp, Loewe and Toshiba have all announced their arrival.

Last year 1441 exhibitors attended IFA and more than 130,000 visitors visited Berlin. This year’s show will be even bigger and you should expect some great new product announcements, too.
