Samsung has announced new PC monitors in the 7 series; one of them with full Windows 8 touch capabilities that enables users to zoom, swipe and press. The new monitors will be exhibited at CES.

Touch monitors for Windows 8

LG, Dell and others have already unveiled touch monitors for Windows 8, and here comes Samsung’s new touch monitor. The series of touch monitors is called SC770 and the touch features resemble those of modern smartphones and tablets.

The monitor also works as a traditional PC monitor. The touch element is just added on-top. The first version will be a 24-inch variant with a MVA panel that offers a very high contrast ratio of 5000:1 and viewing angles of 178 degrees. It has a 1920x1080 pixel resolution.
