This year, Samsung will release more Ultra HD TVs than ever before, including the new S'UHD TVs that move beyond 4K resolution. Panasonic has unveiled its 2015 line-up of TVs, and here is a full overview. Most of the new TVs offer Ultra HD resolution and the high-end TVs add HDR and wider colors gamuts. Panasonic will switch to Firefox OS as its new TV platform and launch its first curved TVs.

Samsung has revealed the new 2013 LED line-up. F8000 is the new flagship but Samsung also plans to launch new F7500 and F7000 models and new cheaper 6, 5 and 4 series. F8000 has a quad-core processor.

We only received a few details at Samsung’s press conference but Samsung has officially announced the new LED models in Las Vegas, together with new Ultra HD TVs.

F8000 is the new flagship and replaces last year’s ES8000 model F8000 comes with a new design and stand and offers all of Samsung’s new Smart TV features. The Smart TV platform is driven by a quad-core CPU that is 3.6 times faster than in last year’s models. This makes it possible to decode for example the HEVC viode format, Samsung says..

F8000 also has a built-in camera and microphone for voice and gestures controls but he camera is only visible when used. At all other times it can be hidden behind the TV. F8000 willb e available in 40, 46, 55, 65 and 75 inch sizes.

A F7500 / F7000 that leaves out the camera is also announced. Besides that is has many similarities with the F8000. F7500 comes in 46, 55 and 60 inch sizes. Both models also feature the Evolution Kit to allow for Smart TV upgrades in 2014.

Besides the 8 and 7 series, Samsung will also unveil cheaper models in the 6, 5 and 4 series. We have not received information on these. We will publish a more thorough overview article later.
