Samsung introduced the first TVs with Evolution Kit in 2012, and when the new 2014 TVs arrive, Samsung will also start selling two versions of the Evolution Kit that can add the 2014 features to an older Samsung Smart TV.
Samsung 2014 Evolution Kit
Samsung’ Evolution Kit will be available in two versions in 2014; one for Full HD and one for Ultra HD. The first one can be mounted to the backside of the Full HD TVs, just like in previous years.

The version for Ultra HD TVs is called OneConnect. The external media box holds all the connections, and connects to the TV via one cable.

The Evolution Kit for Full HD models is expected to sell for the same price as last year’s model. The OneConnect is expected to be around 100-150 dollars more expensive.
