Philips is introducing new TV models featuring even brighter MLA OLED panels, bolder Ambilight Plus, more powerful B&W speakers, and, for the first time, Titan OS in most models, with Google TV limited to high-end TVs. Here is Philips' 2024 TV lineup.

There are more differences between the OLED959, OLED909, OLED809 and OLED759 ranges than in any previous year, a testament to the evolution of OLED technology in recent years but also Philips' decision not to put all eggs in Google's basket.
Both OLED959 and OLED909 are equipped with the second-generation MLA OLED panel with micro lenses, which, on paper, can boost peak brightness to 3000 nits, although the actual peak brightness in calibrated mode remains to be seen.
What sets the OLED959 and OLED909 apart is design and sound; OLED959 boasts a 102W 5.1.2-channel Bowers & Wilkins sound system with front, side, and up-firing speakers for Dolby Atmos. However, it is limited to a 65-inch size, whereas the OLED909 comes in 55, 65, and 77-inch sizes.
OLED809 succeeds last year's OLED808 and remains Philips' affordable high-end OLED TV, available in sizes ranging from 42 to 77 inches. While it loses MLA OLED, it still incorporates most of the company's advanced video and audio technologies, including the new P5 AI Gen8 processor, the new Game Bar, and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz VRR for SDR, HDR10, and Dolby Vision.
Speaking of the 8th generation P5 AI video processor, it introduces Ambient Intelligence V3 for improved ambient light level optimization. OLED959 features a more powerful twin-chip version with additional enhancement systems for sharpness and gradation. See the video below with Danny Tack, Philips' picture guru, for more details.
And then there is the OLED759, which is a range of affordable OLED TVs featuring Titan OS instead of Google TV, as seen in the higher-end OLED models. It is Philips' first OLED model to feature four HDMI 2.1 ports, thanks to a different chipset.

There are still no 83 or 97 inch 4K OLED TVs or 8K OLED TVs of any size in the line-up.
In 2024 – 20 years after first introducing its mood lighting system Ambilight – Philips is also taking the next step by introducing Ambilight Plus, described as "two-dimensional". We shared our initial impressions of Ambilight Plus (and the 2024 OLED models) in this first look article.

Ambilight has evolved significantly over the past 20 years and has become an integral element of Philips TVs today, to the extent that the company has started referring to its TVs simply as an 'Ambilight TV' – creating its own category. Users can now personalize and adjust Ambilight in various ways, including setting it to static bias lighting instead of dynamic color.
Shifting attention to the 2024 LCD models, Philips will introduce new models including PML9009 with miniLED zone dimming ('The Xtra') – the number of dimming zones was not disclosed – and upgraded mid-range models, such as PUS8909 ('The One'). They will no longer run Google TV but will instead run Titan OS.
Only a single affordable TV range from Philips will feature Google TV this year; PUS7409. The only other TVs to feature Google TV are the 8 and 9-series OLED models.

Despite transitioning to Titan OS, the 2024 LCD models still feature HDMI 2.1, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and naturally, Ambilight.
OLED959 is set to launch in Q3, OLED909 and OLED809 in Q2, and OLED759 sometime in-between. PML9009 is expected to launch in June, and the PUS8909 in May. The rest are expected between May and July.
You can tell 2024 Philips TVs apart from previous years’ models by the model number ending on '9'; a 8000 series from 2025 will be called PUS8x09 (LCD) or OLED8x9: As a reminder: xxx9 = 2024, xxx8 = 2023, xxx7 = 2022, xxx6 = 2021, xxx5 = 2020, xxx4 = 2019, xxx3 = 2018, xxx2 = 2017, xxx1 = 2016, xxx0 = 2015, xxx9 = 2014, xxx8 = 2013.
The line-up overview will be updated continuously to reflect any changes or new models announced by Philips. Once the TVs become available, the model name and size will become an active and clickable link to price comparison or retailers.
