Why 24fps is not enough for HDR movies

Hi,

Im looking forward to buy one of those two, because they are the same price(900euro) and specification looks very similar. Mostly TV will be used to watch movies and play games on PS3. I do not care about sound quality because I will be using seperate home cinema system, but anyway Im pretty sure its the same on both TV's. Im looking for your opinion.

Good choice of TV, both are actually good and not big difference in them i guess.

LE8500 is a far better TV in terms of picture quality. I has a full LED backlight wiht local dimmign. LX6500 has Edge LED.

But you also need to be aware that LX6500 is a 3DTV and LE8500 is not. LG's LCD/LED models have too much crosstalk in the 3D mode and therefore I would definately choose one of the plasma TVs if you want decent 3D picture quality. If not, LE8500 is pretty much one of the best LCD/LED models on the market at the moment.
