Why 24fps is not enough for HDR movies

Hi i am in the usa but miss my tv from home so i changed the tv settings so it accesses the smart hub uk ,i do this for the iplayer.
My question is i tried using unblockus on the tv but the iplayer will not work on the tv (works fine on pc and ps3)
i think it has to do with the fact i only have the option to change one dns setting on the tv(they give 2 settings) or should i be able to get this working.

I also have a vpn account and will buy a dd-wrt router if all else fails.

Do you have a C (2010) or D (2011) Samsung TV?

Some users have reported issues with the DNS setup with Samsung's 2010 models. The 2011 models seem to work.
