Why 24fps is not enough for HDR movies

Hi, I'm looking for a 55-inch model. Which will be better: non-OLED TCL P or something from Sony XBR-X900E series? The former costs less than Sony, of course. But I'm not sure if the quality is the same. I need a suitable model for my room design and the size of the niche.
