PC monitors of all kinds.

You've listed the 2275 as an office recommendation. I've been doing a lot of reading of reviews and user coments about this and the Eizo 2231w, both S-PVA panels. Among the common observations are that these monitors excel for photography work with applications that have color management, but are rather mediocre, if not poor, with text, i.e., for use centered around the web, email and office tasks. There are different evaluations, but I've yet to see one enthusiastic about either of these monitors for the general category of office use, including the review you link for the HP. If you have some findings otherwise for the latter, I'd be grateful to hear, since this is not a monitor widely carried in stores in the States.

Note: in the recommended list under graphics, the 2275 is listed as a 19".
