Questions:

As the U3011 and U2710 look to be similar, what are the cubic areas for each so as to determine a cost per cube of real estate?

Will Dell be offering a special promotion before the Christmas season?

What's the availablity?

I haven't calculated to cubic area but I think you should look at it in terms of resolution / size. This is measured with the pixel pitch specification that is listed in both reviews.

Don't know about promotion but Dell often has vouchers available for rebates.

U3011 should be available in most countries by now, Dell says.
