Why 24fps is not enough for HDR movies

I really enjoy reading all of your reviews.

If you had to choose either the Sony 55HX925 or the Samsung 55D8000, which one would it be and why???

No doubt that Sony HX929 is a better TV (picture quality) and if price is no concern would advise you to go for the Sony.

However, if you are looking for best value I have no doubt offers a better picture quality / price ratio. And D8000 is a pretty good TV in my opinion.


I don't know if internet functionality and general multimedia functionality matters to you but if it does you should to into account Samsung's better and further developed internet platform.

PS. Do your calibrated settings for the 46' also apply to the 55' ?
