Why 24fps is not enough for HDR movies

I have a ps4 slim on my Philips 5000 series 4k hdr uhd tv and some of the black colors and shadows in the games look grayish and light reflections on people and objects look shaky and runny, any way to fix this in the tv menu?

First, check if you have the setting for RGB range set correctly. Video output settings -> RGB range -> limited.

The full setting is meant for PC monitor use.

About the "shaky and runny" - do you have 'Natural Motion' enabled?

If that doesn't help I suspect what you are seeing are limitations of your TV. You may want to tweak the picture settings but of course the panel sets limitations.
