Speculation. Modern premium UHD TV sets are set against the DCI spec, but maybe able to do more? That it might be possible for Panasonic to release a firmware upgrade for he DX900 series that expands the rec2020 color gamut to 90% or so, above the approximately 80% it currently does? Then again, it could be that the DX900 is color primary limited.

If it is possible, it is a good firmware upgrade to have into the future.

In review, we always measure color coverage up against the Rec.2020 reference.

The triangle indicates how large a portion of the color gamut the TV can reproduce so when it is slightly rotated compared to, say the DCI-P3 reference, it simply means that the panel's primaries don't line up 100% with the reference (coordinates).
