I'm chosing between this model and the LG C9
I would go for the C9 if they had a smaller hump on the back due wall mounting for the soundbar below. But the Q90R anti-reflective coating and daylight advantages are not a bad options for everyday watching.

My biggest concern if I will miss the crisp OLED 4K/HD movie pictures.
Would you say the Samsung leave you without concerns in this area?
Does the Samsung give you the same wow feeling in this movies?

Both TV's are great choices, but I don't know how prices are where you live, but here i Denmark you can still buy the C8 at extremely low prices, where the Q90R cannot compete. As the C8 pretty much gives you the same performance - except for the HDMI 2.1 connectivity - Q90R is a tough sell at least here in Denmark.

Up close you will be able to see the sub-pixel rendering, but you do have to get fairly close, and blooming/dimming will be visible from time to time (especially on content you are familiar with).

Bad move on Samsung to not support Dolby at all, not to mention old formats as AVI, DIVX and XVID. Why they do that? I'm having hard time converting all my videos to mkv in order to continue to viewing them. Can someone tell me why are they picking up with Dolby and DTS? :x
