LG Cuts HDMI 2.1 Bandwidth on 2020 4K TVs Below 48Gbps. Does It Matter?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GFJmjKJGx5o

his week, LG revealed that the HDMI 2.1 bandwidth on the company's 2020 4K TVs including the CX and GX OLED is "only" 40Gbps instead of the 48Gbps implemented on last year's C9. Vincent and Adam discussed the real-world implications of this revelation, and also touched on DSC (Display Stream Compression) which is allowed for within the HDMI 2.1 specifications.

HDMI 2.1 - in 2020 for manufacturers it's a joke in my opinion!
1. Manufacturers do not bring 12 BIT color to screens
2. Manufacturers do not improve HDR
3. Brightness 1500 NITS poor
4. No DTS-HD or DTS-X
5. In 2007 Pioneer + Samsung brought TVs up to 16 BIT color
Introduced a color computer that converts colors up to 16 BIT
And today barely 10 BIT
