This has now finally been confirmed by the Chinese site IT168.com that has dismantled a 2209WA. <br /><br />There has been uncertainty about the so called e-IPS panel in Dell's new <a href=href=http://clkuk.tradedoubler.com/click?p=702&a=1582163&g=871344&url=http://adfarm.mediaplex.com/ad/ck/2397-52163-11728-1?!mpro=http://lt.dell.com/lt/lt.aspx?CID=5212&LID=122756&DGC=AF&DGSeg=DHS&ACD=&AID=&DURL=http%253A//accessories.euro.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx%253Fc%253Duk%2526l%253Den%2526cs%253Dukdhs1%2526sku%253D198660 target=_blank><b><b>2209WA</b></b></a> screen. People have speculated that the new e-IPS panel technology is a cheap version that can be compared to the TN panel technology. Now, the Chinese site IT168.com has dismantled a brand new 2209WA and has found that the 2209WA is indeed using a IPS panel and is therefore the first 22" IPS monitor. <br />They also reveal that the e-IPS is produced by LG.Display (formerly LG.Philips) which has always been the manufacturer of S-IPS panels. <br /><br /><p align=center><img class="imgresponsive" src=pictures/dell_2209wa_panel.jpg><br><i>Billede lĺnt af IT168.com</i></p><br />Dell 2209WA is the first screen on the market that uses an IPS panel in 22 inches. IPS panels are suitable for graphic work and work with photos, unlike TN panels that are currently found in most PC monitors. <br /><br /><p align=center><a id="thumb" href="pictures/dell2209wa-2l.jpg" class="highslide" rel="highslide"><img class="imgresponsive" src="pictures/dell2209wa-2.jpg" alt="Dell 2209WA" title="Klik for střrre billede"/></a><br><i>Dell 2209WA</i></p><br />Dell 2209WA seems like a snip at a very attractive price. Dell 2209WA is available now at 272,55 UK pounds on the <a href=http://clkuk.tradedoubler.com/click?p=702&a=1582163&g=871344&url=http://adfarm.mediaplex.com/ad/ck/2397-52163-11728-1?!mpro=http://lt.dell.com/lt/lt.aspx?CID=5212&LID=122756&DGC=AF&DGSeg=DHS&ACD=&AID=&DURL=http%253A//accessories.euro.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx%253Fc%253Duk%2526l%253Den%2526cs%253Dukdhs1%2526sku%253D198660 target=_blank><b>Dell website</b></a>.<br /><br />Source: IT168.com
