Eizo is considered one of the top brands if you’re working with graphic and photos. Their high-end LCD series have impressive colour accuracy, top setting options and almost ideal picture quality. Eizo also makes monitors for other industries such as the medical sector and their new RadiForce monitor has some impressive characteristics.

The Eizo RadiForce LS560W is a 56-inch LCD monitor with a 4Kx2K (3840x2160) resolution. Samsung has presented LCD-TVs with this resolution but no real products have been announced until now.

Eizo RadiForce LS560W

The Eizo RadiForce monitor is a medical monitor for high-precision pictures. It’s intended for surgery, medical analysis and such where precise colours and very fine details are required.

Besides the 4Kx2K resolution the monitor has viewing angles of 176-degrees (suggesting it is a Sharp ASV LCD panel), 1200:1 contrast ratio and 450 cd/m2 brightness.

This seems to be the first step towards next-gen HD resolution. Interesting.
