14 Apr 2009 | Rasmus Larsen |

Samsung presents three new LCD monitors to the “Touch of Color” series. The new monitors P2070, P2270, and P2370 will be available April 2009. Samsung also introduce the P50 series.

P70 series
Three new monitors from Samsung are soon available in 16:9 aspect ratio and attractive design. Featuring a glass stand neck, it gives the illusion that the panel is floating. There are no obtrusive buttons on the front or sides on the panel. Instead, each display features the so-called Startlight Touch Controls. Finally the stand allows the user to swivel the monitor.

Samsung P70

Technical features
Resolution: 1920x1080 (not P2070)
Aspect ratio: 16:9
Response time: 2 ms (g2g)
Brightness: 250 cd/m2
Contrast ratio: 1000:1
Viewing angles: 170/160
Energy consumption: 34 W

The P70 series is available from May 2009.

Samsung has also announced a P2370L with a LED backlight.
