11 Jun 2009 | Rasmus Larsen |

We have received the new Samsung B850 high-end plasma TV that is considered a rival to the Panasonic V10 series.

Samsung B850 (also known as B855) is Samsung's new high-end plasma-TV series. The B850 combines a slim design with promising picture quality. Samsung told us about the B850 on CES 2009 in Las Vegas back in January 2009 and since then a lot of people have been eager to know more.

Read more about Samsung B850 here:
CES 2009: Samsung shows off 2009 plasmas

Samsung B850

Do you have specific suggestions for our review or specific areas you want us to examine on the TV please use the commentary feature at the bottom.

The first thing that impressed us on the B850 was when we unpacked the TV from the box. It has a very thin profile. This is by far the thinnest plasma TV I have ever seen. A small teaser image can be seen below.

Samsung B850

The review is expected online next week.
