Samsung uses its own S-PVA panels in some of their PC monitors and most LCD-TVs. Now Samsung has announced two new models called F2080 and F2380 based on the so-called cPVA panels.

Samsung's two new PC monitors, F2080 and F2380 are respectively 20 and 23 inches. The new monitors have a black, matte plastic design and provide good ergonomic features.

Technical features: response time of 8 ms (g2g), dynamic contrast ratio of 150.000:1 and 178/178 degree viewing angles. The resolution is 1600x900 on F2080 and 1920x1080 on F2380.

cPVA - a new panel?
We don’t know much about the cPVA panel at the moment but it’s believed to be a panel positioned between the inexpensive TN panels and the more expensive S-PVA panels.

The monitors have 2 DVI inputs and an analog D-SUB (VGA).

Both models are expected to launch soon. The price on the F2080 is 229 Euro and the F2380 is priced at 299 Euro.
