Sony presents the new BRAVIA V5800, W5800 or Z5800 TV series with integrated 3-in-1 tuner. With these you’re ready to receive terrestrial, cable and satellite channels – in HD too.

Connect to all kinds of channels with no extra clutter

Enjoy a huge choice of channels with the new BRAVIA TVs with built-in HD triple tuner. This next generation of Integrated Digital Television (IDTV) has a 3-in-1 integrated DVB-S2, DVB-T and DVB-C tuner which means you can watch terrestrial, cable and free-to-air German TV broadcasts from ASTRA satellite services without the need for set-top boxes or cables cluttering the room.

What’s more, unlike some other multi-tuner TVs, the new BRAVIA V5800, W5800 and Z5800 TVs are CI+ ready so you can easily slot in a smartcard with CI+ CAM to access pay TV and subscription channels. The new triple tuner TVs are also set up to receive HD channels as they become available.

The three new BRAVIA TVs built on the well-known models V5500, W5500 and Z5500 and are packed with the same picture and motion technology from Sony like BRAVIA ENGINE 3 and Live Colour as well as 100/200 Hz Motionflow from Sony.

The new triple tuner BRAVIA TVs also has a range of handy eco features to reduce your TV’s energy consumption, such as the Light Sensor which reduces backlight levels for comfortable viewing in dim light.

- “The BRAVIA V5800, W5800 and Z5800 TVs not only have incredible external connectivity via HDMI™, DLNA and USB, the handy built-in HD triple tuner can also connect to a huge range of TV channels,” says Hiroshi Sakamoto, Vice President, TV Marketing Europe.
“Its simplicity gives viewers all kinds of options – from creating cleaner, clearer room spaces to accessing HD channels as they become available.”
