The 3DTV utilizes an impressive 3840x2160 resolution that is four times higher than Full HD (1920x1080). According to LG this improves 3D detailing on such a large screen.

The 3DTV has been manufactured for exhibition purposes and will not be available for consumers right now.
LG will be releasing the LX9500 3D range soon.

Other LG 3D technologies

LG also exhibits a 47-inch 3D LCD-TV that uses the passive polarized glasses.
The new panel is said to reduce crosstalk to less than 1 percent according to LG, which is almost invisible to the human eye.

Finally, LG has exhibited a 47-inch no-glasses 3DTV that uses a liquid lens to eliminate the need for 3D glasses. All 3DTVs planning for the consumer market right now need 3D glasses.
