ViewSonic has unveiled a new 22-inch monitor called VX2250wm-LED. The monitor has a 1920x1080 resolution and a WLED (white LED) backlight.

Viewsonic’s new VX2250wm-LED monitor is a new TN based monitor with a 22-inch full HD panel. According to ViewSonic the LED backlight saves approximately 40 % compared to typical 22-inch monitors.

The frame is built from black, glossy plastic with soft edges and a transparent line at the bottom. In the middle of the screen you’ll find a blue LED and the stand allows the user to tilt the monitor.

ViewSonic also mentions a 5 ms response time, 1000:1 contrast ration, 250 cd/m2 brightness, and 170/160 viewing angles. You can connect the screen via DVI or D-SUB (VGA).
