Sony HX800 is Sonyâ€™s lower priced 3DTV that has started shipping together with the release of the PlayStation 3 3D update.
HX800 has an Edge LED backlight and a thin profile. It also has a 200/240 Hz Motionflow picture circuit and the Sony Internet TV features. To utilize 3D on HX800 you need to acquire a separate IR transmitter and separate 3D glasses.
HX800 is Sonyâ€™s first 3DTV and itâ€™s now shipping. Itâ€™s actually cheaper than Sony announced earlier this year and Amazon has pricing on the 46 and 55 inches here (46â€ť) and here (55â€ť).
