Sharp recently recently released the LE820 and LE810 models, and now Sharp has a new LE320 range on the market. It has a slim design because of Edge LED backlight.
Sharp's new LE320 series is now officially released on the market. LE320 is an affordable range of smaller TVs for the living room, bedroom or holiday cottage. LE320 is available now in 32, 26 and 22 inches. 37 and 42 inch models will be available later.
LE320 is based on a design with a black bezel and a white backside. LE320 is also almost as slim as the much more expensive models because it has an Edge LED backlight which means that the LEDs are placed around the edge of the panel. This ensures a slim frame and very low power consumption.
On the right side of the screen Sharp has placed an USB port that can handle music, videos and pictures from a USB key or USB hard disc. It supports HD video and the DivX format.
Sharp also mentions a 100/120 Hz circuit, 6 ms response time and 178/178 degree viewing angles.
Sharp LE320 has three the HDMI inputs (32-inch and up) and digital tuners built-in.
Sharp LE320 will be available in 32, 26 and 22 inches called LC-32LE320, LC-26LE320 and LC-22LE320. The 37 and 42 inch models called LC-37LE320 and LC-42LE320 will be available later this year.
FlatpanelsDK will also have a LE320 review up soon.
