LG has released some teasers on what they’re unveiling on this year's IFA 2010 trade fair in Berlin. LG will be bringing a gigantic 180-inch plasma TV, their first 3D plasma-TV called PX950, and the two new high-end series LEX8 and LEX9.
FlatpanelsHD will be in Berlin to cover the world’s largest consumer electronics fair IFA 2010. Starting September 1 you can read all about the new products and trends on FlatpanelsHD. Check out the front page or IFA 2010 Coverage site. You can also subscribe to our Newsletter or RSS feeds.
180 inch plasma TV and the first 3D plasma
We have something to look forward from LG on IFA 2010 because LG has new products in line for us as well as cool new technology.
LG exhibited this 102” plasma-TV in 2006. Now they want to exhibit a 180”
First and foremost LG will be exhibiting a 180-inch plasma TV, that is also the world's largest (unless some of the other manufacturers beat LG on IFA 2010). The product is not intended for the consumer market, but is just an addition in the race for the biggest TV and technical boasting from LG. We can tell you much more about this TV later this week.
LG will also release their first 3D plasma TV called PX950. We previously mentioned PX950 here, but to sum it up it has a THX mode, NetCast (Internet), DLNA, Wireless AV Link, and a new 3D panel.
LG LEX8 and LEX9
LG will exhibit their two new high-end series called LEX8 and LEX9.
LG Nano LEX8
Both models are extremely thin TVs with LED backlight and LG's most advanced display technologies. We introduced the LEX8 yesterday. LEX9 series is the flagship model just above LEX8 and it will be available in impressive 72 inches.
Expect much more information later this week when FlatpanelsHD lands in Berlin - check back regularly. Follow our IFA coverage page or subscribe to our RSS feeds.
LG also mentions some new home cinema sound solutions and some new soundbars that we can tell you more about very soon.
