Samsung has announced two new monitors in the 16:10 format called 2243DW and 2443DW.<br /><br /><h3>Samsung 2243DW and 2443DW</h3>Some years ago almost every monitor used the 16:10 format but in the recent years most new monitors have been introduced with the 16:9 aspect ratio due to the TV / PC convergence.<br /><br /><p align=center><a id="thumb" href="pictures/samsung2443dw-1l.jpg" class="highslide" rel="highslide"><img class="imgresponsive" src="pictures/samsung2443dw-1.jpg" alt="Samsung 2443DW" title="Click to enlarge" /></a><br><i>Samsung 2443DW</i></p><br />Samsung is now releasing two new monitors with the 16:10 aspect ratio for those users who prefer the extra vertical pixels. The monitors called 2243DW and 2443DW are 22-inches and 24-inches, respectively.<br /><br />Both monitors use TN panels with 1680x1050 and 1920x1200 resolutions. They also feature a 5 ms response time and 300 cd/m2 brightness, and are equipped with analogue D-SUB (VGA) and digital DVI and DisplayPort inputs.<br /><br />Expect to see these two new monitors in stores later this month. Samsung 2243DW will be available for 269 Euro ($378) and 2443DW costs 329 Euro ($460).
