Vizio’s XVT 3DTVs have been unveiled

US based Vizio has presented their first 3DTVs called XVT3D. Vizio’s new TVs will be available in 42, 47 and 55 inches with Wi-Fi, Intenet Apps and LED local dimming.

Vizio has presented their first 3DTVs in the XVT3D range. The three new 42-55-inch models are called XVT3D424SV, XVT3D474SV and XVT3D554SV.

The 47 and 55-inch models feature a Full LED backlight with local dimming that can improve black reproduction considerably. Vizio says that they have been able to achieve a 10.000.000:1 dynamic contrast ratio by utilizing this Smart Dimming system (local dimming). The 42-inch model has an Edge LED backlight and no local dimming.

All three models allow users to experience 3D pictures from 3D Blu-ray and 3D gaming. Vizio is utilizing the active 3D technology that ensures Full HD 3D picture quality but requires active 3D glasses.

The TVs also feature Internet Apps, Wi-Fi, a slide-out QWERTY remote control and 480 Hz (240 Hz frame interpolation and 240 Hz scanning backlights).
