NEC EA232WMI coming soon

We presented the new EA232WMi in detail in November. To learn more see this article: NEC EA232WMi has IPS and LED, replaces EA231WMi.

NEC says that the LED backlight ensures a low 31W energy consumption value compared to 43W on the current EA231WMi without LED. NEC also mentions a 1920x1080 resolution in the 16:9 aspect ratio and 14 ms response time. The IPS panel provides 178/178 degree viewing angles and a 1000:1 static contrast ratio.

NEC has announced that EA232WMi will be available from December 2010, or January 2011 in some countries. The suggested retail price is ÂŁ316 or around $500. We hope to receive a EA232WMi very soon for testing, and will keep you updated.
