Samsung has just unveiled their 2011 flat panel TV ranges and even though not all details have been revealed, it looks very interesting. Samsung has announced new D8000, D7000 and D6400 TVs with 3D, LED, web browsers, and extremely slim bezels. They will be available in up to 60 inches.

Samsung promises that they have improved 3D picture quality significantly compared to the 2010 models. New media features have been added, such as a web browser that lets users explore the internet freely, and the App interface is naturally still here. D8000 and D7000 also come with built-in Wi-Fi and DLNA.

Samsung still believes in Edge LED backlights in 2011. The D8000 model utilizes a so-called Micro Dimming Plus system which, according to Samsung, is close to full local dimming systems.

The cool Touch Screen Remote comes bundled with the D8000 model but not with the D7000 model. Samsung has also revolutionized the active 3D glasses that now communicate via Bluetooth instead of the infrared system that was utilized on the 2010 models.
