Asus has announced a new 27-inch 120 Hz and 3D capable monitor at CeBIT 2011 in Hannover. The monitor is called VG278H and should interest gaming enthusiasts.<br /><br /><h3>Asus VG278H with 120 Hz</h3>At the CeBIT 2011 fair Asus has announced a new gamer monitor called VG278H. The monitor supports the faster 120 Hz refresh rate that improves gaming performance. It also supports 3D with Nvidias 3D Vision set and glasses.<br /><br /><p align=center><a id="thumb" href="pictures/asusvh278h-1l.jpg" class="highslide" rel="highslide"><img class="imgresponsive" src="pictures/asusvg278h-1.jpg" alt="Asus VG278H" title="Click to enlarge" /></a><br><i>Asus VG278H</i></p><br />Asus VG278H comes with a LED based TN panel with 1920x1080 resolution. It has a 2 ms (g2g) response time and a 1000:1 contrast ratio. Brightness is 400 cd/m2 and the viewing angles are 170/160 degrees. Connectivity includes HDMI, DVI and D-SUB (VGA).<br /><br />No official information regarding release date and price has been released at this point. We await an update from Asus.
