RDT233WX is a new 23-inch IPS based monitor from Mitsubishi. It also shows 3D based on the passive 3D technology with cheaper polarized 3D glasses.

The monitor support 3D but not the active kind that most PC monitors utilize today. Instead it uses passive 3D that only requires cheap polarized 3D glasses but also halves vertical resolution. In the past, 3D on PC monitors, required 120 Hz but with passive 3D, 120 Hz is not required.

RDT233WX also has a slim design because of the Edge LED backlight. The stand allows users to tilt the screen. Connectivity includes HDMI 1.4, DVI and D5 connections.

The 23-inch Mitsubishi RDT233WX will be available May 30 in Japan. No words on availability outside of Japan at this point.
