Philips has announced a new PC monitor with integrated TV tuner for Europe. With the tuner you can switch between TV channels and PC inputs with the help of touch buttons on the bezel.

The LCD monitor Philips 221TE2L allows you to enjoy HD quality TV shows and movies directly on your desktop. A smaller 19-inch model will also be available later this year.

Philips 221TE2L has the following features:
  • Full HD and Edge LED backlight.
  • Built-in DVB-T tuner with MPEG4

    The design is kept in glossy black and the monitor has a speaker below the LCD panel. The stand also allows users to tilt the monitor.

    Pricing and Availability

    Philips 221TE2L is available in selected European countries now with a suggested retail price of 230 Euro. A smaller 19-inch 191TE2 model will be available in June 2011 with suggested retail price of 180 Euro.
