Dell intends to replace the current U2410, U2311H and U2211H models with new 2011 models called U2412M, U2312HM & U2212HM (M for 16:10 and HM for 16:9). The new monitors appear to look largely identical and will incorporate new e-IPS panels with LED backlight.

The 24-inch U2412HM will also feature as 16:10 aspect ratio panel with 1920x1200 pixel resolution even though the first available information indicated a 16:9 panel.

The bezel appears a bit more rounded at the edges but the black matte color is not changed. The stand will also allow users to utilize the many ergonomic functions found on current Dell monitors.
