Acer has announced a passive 3D gaming monitor that utilizes cheap polarized 3D glasses. The 23-inch GR235H will be available later this month with a price of 220 Euro.<br /><br /><h3>Acer GR235H: New passive 3D gaming monitor</h3>Acer has released a range of active 3D monitors in the recent years but here comes a passive 3D monitor for gaming.<br /><br /><p align=center><img class="imgresponsive" src="pictures/acergr235h.jpg" alt="23-inch Acer GR235H with passive 3D"><br><i>23-inch Acer GR235H with passive 3D</i></p><br />The monitor is one of the few available monitors to utilize passive 3D with cheap polarized 3D glasses that you may know from the movie theatre. And Acer even provides a 2D-to-3D conversion function.<br /><br />The 23-inch Acer GR235H uses a TN panel with Full HD resolution, Edge LED and 2 ms (g2g) response time. Connectivity includes D-SUB (VGA) and 2xHDMI for connecting gaming consoles, PCs and 3D Blu-ray players. Acer has also integrated two 1.5W speakers in the cabinet.<br /><br />Acer GR235H will be available in Europe and Asia this month with a price of 220 Euro. It will also be available in other regions later.
