According to Bloomberg, LG could show off Google TV based TVs at CES 2012. Google TV has just been updated to version 2.0, dubbed <a href=http://www.flatpanelshd.com/news.php?subaction=showfull&id=1315907188 target=_Blank><b>Honeycomb</b></a>.<br /><br /><h3>LG Google TV at CES 2012</h3>Bloomberg cites ”people with knowledge of the project” who claim that LG might want to show off Google TV hardware at CES 2012 in Las Vegas this January.<br /><br /><p align=center><img class="imgresponsive" src="pictures/lggoogletv.jpg" alt="LG Google TV"><br><i>LG might be planning to show off Google TV at CES 2012</i></p><br />However, details are sparse, and the sources indicate that nothing has been decided on LG’s part yet. However, LG has been interested in the project for some time now.<br /><br />Sony was the first TV manufacturer to incorporate the Google TV platform in version 1.0 but with little success. At last year’s show a range of TV manufacturers planned to show Google TV hardware but <a href=http://www.flatpanelshd.com/news.php?subaction=showfull&id=1296051168 target=_Blank><b>decided not to do it</b></a> after a lukewarm reception. The new version of <a href=http://www.flatpanelshd.com/news.php?subaction=showfull&id=1315907188 target=_Blank><b>Google TV</b></a> aims to improve the platform by incorporating TV Apps.<br /><br />Details about <a href=http://www.flatpanelshd.com/news.php?subaction=showfull&id=1320827915 target=_Blank><b>LG’s 2012 TVs</b></a> have already been released with no mention of Google TV. LG’s official 2012 plans will be announced at the CES 2012 show in Las Vegas starting January 10.<br /><br />- <i>Source: <a href=http://www.businessweek.com/news/2011-11-13/lg-is-said-to-plan-to-debut-google-tv-at-trade-show-in-january.html target=_Blank>Bloomberg</a></i>
