FlatpanelsHD has received Samsung’s new 27-inch S27A850D monitor; the first one to utilize Samsung’s new PLS panel type. The monitor also exists in a 24-inch size called S24A850D.

Samsung S27A850D is the first monitor with Samsung’s new PLS (Plane to Line switching) panel that has characteristics of the IPS panel technology. It also offers 2560x1440 pixel resolution, 5 ms (g2g) response time and 178/178 viewing angles.
