Voice is registered via the The Magic Motion remote that has a built-in microphone, besides its motion control capabilities. LGs voice system is powered by Nuance that is widely used in voice recognition software today.

LG has also released this video demonstration of the technology.

All of LGs high-end Smart TVs shipped after April will have the voice control capabilities activated by default. If you have already bought your new LG Smart TV or will buy one in the coming weeks - you will receive the voice control system with a firmware update by the end of the month.
