According to an industry analyst, Apple is one of the customers, and probably also the one placing the ”huge” orders for the new technology. However, this is pure speculation at this point - but Apple has explored designs with flexible OLEDs.

Flexible panels are believed to be one of the new trends in the electronics market and will enable electronics makers to create completely novel designs. LG Display will also start mass production of flexible OLED screens later this year.
