SB970 is a monitor for graphic artists, photographers and people working with other color-focused tasks. Samsung mentions a 27-inch variant but other size classes will probably also be available later. Samsung also says that all samples have been factory calibrated to ensure accurate color reproduction, and has even included a 16-bit LUT (look-up table) to ensure near-perfect color gradation.

SB970 has a sleek design with a minimalistic look. The frame is thin and the round metal base allows tilt and height adjustments. Connectivity includes DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort.
