Gaming performance will be considerably better due to very capable hardware but Xbox 720 will also serve as the living room’s TV device. Microsoft plans to offer TV apps such as video services and therefore Xbox 720 will also get a “always-on” mode, which means that you never have to turn it completely off. Lastly, Microsoft mentions tight integration with SmartGlass; a system to combine all your screens, including your tablet and smartphone.

Kinect Glasses (Project Fortaleza)

Another interesting detail mentioned in the leaked document is Project Fortaleza - or Kinect glasses. It seems that Microsoft is developing virtual reality glasses; a system similar to the Google Glass Project.
