Google Play gets more content

Android users will now be able to buy their favorite movies and TV shows – either as episodes or full seasons. Google already offers movie rentals.

Google says that they have partnered with Disney, ABC, NBC Universal, Sony Pictures and Paramount so there should be plenty of content to browse. No words on what countries will benefit from the new content but USA is first on that list, naturally.

Google has created two videos to introduce the content. See for yourself.
