Only a hand full of 27-inch IPS monitors exist today and Nixeus is hoping to gain some traction with their new low-cost 27 inch monitor. The IPS-based monitor comes with a 2560x1440 resolution and 6 ms response time.
Nixeus 27-inch NX-VUE27
US-based Nixeus who specialize in media players has produced their first monitor. The 27-inch monitor is dubbed NX-VUE27 and has a discreet glossy black frame and a matte base. It is designed for photographers and discerning users.

The IPS panel utilizes a 2560x1440 resolution and has a 5 ms (g2g) response time. Nixeus also mentions a 1500:1 contrast ratio, 380 cd/m2 brightness and 178/178 viewing angles. The IPS panels inside will be A grade, which means that pixel faults and bleeding should be reduced to a minimum.

The stand offers height, swivel, tilt and pivot. You can connect the monitor with D-SUB (VGA), HDMI, DVI or DisplayPort and integrated speakers are also integrated into the cabinet. The power supply is external.
The monitor will be available in the US for $430 and is said to go for up for pre-order at Comp-U-Plus shortly.
