The second-generation of Google TV is still not a huge thing but new products have been announced at IFA 2012. Chinese Hisense has announced the Hisense Pulse; a small Google TV box priced “below $99 USD”. It will be available from November.

Sony’s Google TV boxes will be out soon and LG launched their first Google TV last month. Chinese Hisense wants to join the Google TV party, too.

Hisense Plus is a small Google TV box that can be connected to any TV. When connected, it will give you access to TV apps, video services, games and Google’s own services. In other words an evolving platform that acts like our smartphones.

The box can be connected through HDMI and has built-in WiFi as well as an Ethernet port for cabled connection to the internet. A two-sided remote control is included. The back side of the remote has a full keyboard which might come in handy when you want to search for movies on for example Netflix.

Hisense Pulse will be available in select markets in November. The price is said to be “below $99 USD”.
